- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
- Fold in chopped pecans.
- Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto prepared sheets.
- In a small bowl, mix corn syrup and brown sugar; spoon a small amount onto each cookie.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Cool on wire racks.
