- 2 cups chopped pecans
- 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread pecans evenly in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and cinnamon; spread over pecans.
- Sprinkle cake mix evenly over the pumpkin layer.
- Drizzle melted butter over the top.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes until golden and set.
- Cool before serving.
Notes
For a nuttier flavor, toast the pecans before using. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
