Description

A quick and easy pasta version of the classic Philly cheesesteak sandwich, perfect for weeknight dinners.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces uncooked pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
  3. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet; cook until vegetables are softened.
  4. Stir in the beef broth and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Mix in the cooked pasta and cheese until melted and combined.
  6. Season with salt and pepper, then serve hot.

Notes

For a spicier version, add sliced jalapenos or hot sauce.
