Description

Delicious pink-colored cookies made with butter, sugar, and food coloring, perfect for parties.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pink food coloring, as needed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until combined.
  6. Add pink food coloring until desired color is achieved.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  8. Allow cookies to cool on a wire rack.

Notes
