Description

These pink velvet chocolate chip cookies are soft, chewy, and infused with a subtle pink color from food coloring, packed with chocolate chips for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 2 large eggs
  • Pink food coloring, as needed
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, then add pink food coloring until desired color is achieved.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a more vibrant pink color, adjust the amount of food coloring. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
