Description

Delicate macarons flavored with pomegranate and pistachio, shaped like Christmas trees and filled with creamy white chocolate ganache.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 100g almond flour
  • 200g powdered sugar
  • 50g pistachios, finely ground
  • 2 egg whites
  • 50g granulated sugar
  • Pomegranate seeds for decoration
  • 100g white chocolate, chopped
  • 50ml heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 150°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, sift almond flour and powdered sugar together.
  3. Whisk egg whites until foamy, then add granulated sugar gradually to form stiff peaks.
  4. Fold in the almond mixture and ground pistachios until combined.
  5. Pipe the mixture into tree shapes on the baking sheet and let rest for 30 minutes.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes until set, then cool completely.
  7. For the ganache, heat cream and pour over chopped white chocolate; stir until smooth.
  8. Sandwich the macarons with ganache and top with pomegranate seeds.

Notes

Ensure macarons are rested properly for the best texture. Store in an airtight container.
