- 4 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Layer the sliced potatoes in the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
- Spread the browned ground beef over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle chopped onion over the beef layer.
- Pour the cream of mushroom soup evenly over the top.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Cover and bake for 1 hour, or until potatoes are tender.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted.
