- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix pumpkin puree, sugar, evaporated milk, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until smooth.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the pumpkin layer.
- Top with chopped pecans and drizzle melted butter over the entire surface.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the top is golden brown and set.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a crunchier topping, toast the pecans before adding. Serve with vanilla ice cream for the best experience.
