Description

A quick and simple Margherita pizza made with tortillas for a fast dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 large flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Place the tortillas on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the tortillas.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  5. Add fresh basil leaves.
  6. Drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a minute before slicing.

Notes

For a crispier base, use corn tortillas. Adjust cheese for dietary preferences.
