- 2 egg whites

- Red food coloring
- For frosting: 100g mascarpone cheese
- 50g powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, sift together almond flour, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder.
- In a separate bowl, beat egg whites until foamy, then gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the meringue mixture along with red food coloring.
- Pipe the batter onto a baking sheet and let rest for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 150°C for 15-18 minutes.
- For frosting, mix mascarpone, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Once cooled, sandwich the macarons with frosting.
Notes
Ensure the macarons are completely cooled before adding frosting to prevent melting. Store in an airtight container.
