Description

A rich and creamy cheesecake that combines the beloved flavors of Reese’s peanut butter cups with chocolate for a decadent dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 4 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • Reese’s peanut butter cups (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Combine the chocolate graham cracker crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, mixing on low speed until just combined. Stir in the sour cream and peanut butter until smooth.
  4. Pour the filling over the crust in the springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 250°F (120°C) and bake for an additional 45 minutes or until the center is set.
  5. Remove from oven and run a sharp knife around the edge to loosen cheesecake. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  6. For the topping, melt the chocolate chips with heavy cream in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth. Spread over the cheesecake.
  7. Garnish with chopped Reese’s peanut butter cups before serving.
