Description

Ingredients

  • 1 9-inch pie crust
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • Flaky sea salt for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish. Chill in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the honey, melted butter, eggs, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and sea salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the center is set but still slightly jiggly.
  6. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Let cool completely before serving.
