Description

A creamy cheesecake inspired by Samoa cookies, featuring a chocolate crust, caramel, and coconut topping.


Ingredients

  • Crust:
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • Filling:
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Topping:
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup shredded coconut, toasted
  • 1/2 cup chocolate sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325ยฐF and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder, sugar, and melted butter. Press into the bottom of the pan.
  3. Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
  4. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and sour cream.
  5. Pour the filling over the cooled crust and bake for 55-60 minutes, or until set.
  6. Let the cheesecake cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  7. Before serving, drizzle with caramel sauce, sprinkle toasted coconut, and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
