A simple and savory appetizer featuring seasoned sausage and creamy cheese wrapped in flaky crescent dough.

For the Crust:

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 lb mild ground pork sausage, cooked and drained
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 2 (8 oz) cans refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, cooked sausage, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until well combined.
  3. Unroll the crescent dough and separate into triangles. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the sausage mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll up the dough, starting from the wide end, and place the crescents on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 11-13 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown. Serve warm.
