For the Crust:

  • 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 6 slices of bacon, chopped
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon from skillet and set aside, leaving the grease in the pan.
  2. Add green beans to the skillet and sauté over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes. Add mushrooms and garlic, continuing to cook until mushrooms are tender and green beans are crisp-tender.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the cooked bacon and mix well before serving.
