For the Crust:
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1/2 cup water chestnuts, diced
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup Thai chili sauce
- 1 head butter or iceberg lettuce, leaves separated
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautรฉ for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the ground chicken to the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks. Stir in soy sauce, cooking until the chicken is fully cooked.
- Mix in water chestnuts, green onions, and Thai chili sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is well combined and heated through.
- Serve the chicken mixture in lettuce leaves and garnish with extra green onions if desired.
