For the Crust:
- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, and cook until liquid evaporates. Set aside to cool.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheet and spread the mushroom mixture evenly. Sprinkle cheese over the top. Roll tightly into a log and slice into 1-inch pinwheels. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
