Description

Delicious puff pastry pinwheels filled with sautéed mushrooms and melted cheese, perfect for appetizers or snacks.

For the Crust:

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (like cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add mushrooms, season with salt and pepper, and cook until liquid evaporates. Set aside to cool.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and spread the mushroom mixture evenly. Sprinkle cheese over the top. Roll tightly into a log and slice into 1-inch pinwheels. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
