A delicate dish featuring seared scallops served with a luscious cream sauce.

For the Crust:
- 1 pound sea scallops
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup white wine
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the scallops and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown. Remove the scallops from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sautรฉ for 1 minute, then add white wine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream and cook until the sauce has thickened.
- Return the scallops to the skillet and spoon the cream sauce over them. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
