A delicate dish featuring seared scallops served with a luscious cream sauce.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 pound sea scallops
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the scallops and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown. Remove the scallops from the pan and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sautรฉ for 1 minute, then add white wine. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream and cook until the sauce has thickened.
  4. Return the scallops to the skillet and spoon the cream sauce over them. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
