- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb sea scallops
- 2 tablespoons capers
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- Pat the scallops dry and season with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the scallops and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter, garlic, and capers. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in the white wine and simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce.
- Return the scallops to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet, tossing everything together.
- Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
