Description

A decadent layered dessert featuring cream, cake, and fruits.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (14 ounces) angel food cake, cubed
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 can (15 ounces) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 2 packages (3.4 ounces each) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 4 cups cold milk
  • 2 cups whipped topping

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, prepare the pudding according to package instructions using the cold milk; set aside to thicken.
  2. In a trifle bowl, layer half of the cubed angel food cake at the bottom.
  3. Add a layer of sliced strawberries and blueberries on top of the cake.
  4. Spoon half of the prepared pudding over the fruit layer.
  5. Add a layer of mandarin oranges.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining cake, fruit, and pudding.
  7. Top with whipped topping and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

For a twist, add chocolate shavings or nuts for extra texture.
