Description

A flavorful seared snapper fillet topped with a rich, creamy lobster sauce, perfect for a gourmet dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 snapper fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup lobster meat, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the snapper fillets dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the fillets for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  3. Remove fillets and set aside; in the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add white wine and reduce by half, then stir in chopped lobster meat and heavy cream.
  5. Simmer the sauce for 5 minutes until thickened, then season to taste.
  6. Pour the sauce over the seared snapper and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half. Ensure fish is fresh for best results.
