Description

A refreshing bowl featuring succulent shrimp, creamy avocado, and a zesty mango salsa with lime and chili sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 ripe avocados, diced
  • 1 mango, peeled and diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking
  • Optional: 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine diced mango, red bell pepper, red onion, cilantro, jalapeno (if using), and 1 tablespoon lime juice to make the salsa. Season with salt and set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, toss the shrimp with the remaining lime juice, chili sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  4. Assemble the bowls by layering diced avocado at the bottom, then add the cooked shrimp, and top with the mango salsa.
  5. Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

For a spicier version, add more chili sauce or jalapeno. This recipe pairs well with quinoa or rice.
