Description

Quick and flavorful shrimp scampi bowls topped with succulent shrimp, garlic, and herbs, served alongside crispy garlic bread.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 8 ounces spaghetti or linguine
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 4 slices Italian bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  5. Pour in white wine and lemon juice; simmer for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper; remove from heat and stir in fresh parsley.
  7. For the garlic bread, preheat the broiler. Brush bread slices with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder.
  8. Broil for 1-2 minutes until golden and crispy.
  9. Divide the cooked pasta into bowls, top with shrimp scampi mixture, and serve with garlic bread on the side.
