For the Crust:

  • 2 sirloin steaks
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup Marsala wine
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Season the sirloin steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steaks for about 4 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add mushrooms and sautรฉ until they are golden brown. Pour in the Marsala wine and beef broth, stirring to combine. Simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Stir in the butter and parsley.
  4. Serve the sauce over the steaks and enjoy.
