For the Crust:
- 2 sirloin steaks
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup Marsala wine
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Season the sirloin steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steaks for about 4 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add mushrooms and sautรฉ until they are golden brown. Pour in the Marsala wine and beef broth, stirring to combine. Simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Stir in the butter and parsley.
- Serve the sauce over the steaks and enjoy.
