For the Crust:

  • 3 lbs beef brisket
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard powder

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Rub the brisket with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  2. Place the brisket in a slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
  3. In a saucepan, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard powder. Simmer for 15 minutes, then pour over cooked brisket.
