For the Crust:
- 3 lbs beef brisket
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon mustard powder
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Rub the brisket with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Place the brisket in a slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
- In a saucepan, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard powder. Simmer for 15 minutes, then pour over cooked brisket.
