For the Crust:

  • 3-pound beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper.
  2. In a slow cooker, combine cranberry sauce, chopped onion, minced garlic, beef broth, soy sauce, and rosemary.
  3. Place the seasoned roast in the slow cooker and cover with the cranberry mixture.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the beef is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
  5. Before serving, adjust seasoning if needed.
