- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- Optional: 1/2 cup chopped onions
Instructions
- Step 1: In a slow cooker, combine the marinara sauce, diced tomatoes, heavy cream, garlic powder, dried basil, salt, and black pepper.
- Step 2: Add the refrigerated cheese tortellini to the slow cooker and stir to coat with the sauce mixture.
- Step 3: Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Step 4: Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, or until the tortellini is tender.
- Step 5: About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the fresh spinach and let it wilt.
- Step 6: Serve hot, garnished with additional cheese if desired.
