- 2 pounds potatoes, sliced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat.
- In the slow cooker, layer the sliced potatoes at the bottom.
- Add the browned beef and onion mixture on top of the potatoes.
- Pour the cream of mushroom soup over the layers and sprinkle with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until potatoes are tender.
Notes
For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños or hot sauce to the beef mixture.
