Description

A succulent spiral ham slow-cooked to perfection with a sweet honey glaze and a crispy caramelized crust.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 spiral-cut ham (78 pounds)
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Place the spiral ham in the slow cooker, flat side down.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together honey, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, ground cloves, and cinnamon.
  3. Pour the glaze mixture over the ham, ensuring it seeps into the slices.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours, basting occasionally with the glaze.
  5. Transfer the ham to a baking sheet, brush with remaining glaze, and broil for 3-5 minutes until caramelized and crispy.
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
