- 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Add the cream cheese and mix until smooth.
- Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until just combined, then fold in the chopped strawberries.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
For best results, use fresh strawberries and chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking to prevent spreading.
