- 1 pound spaghetti
- 1 loaf round bread
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown ground beef with salt and pepper; drain fat and mix with marinara sauce.
- Cut the top off the bread loaf and hollow out the inside to create a bowl.
- Mix melted butter with minced garlic and brush inside the bread bowl.
- Fill the bread bowl with cooked spaghetti and beef mixture, then top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bread is golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Ensure the bread is sturdy enough to hold the spaghetti without sogginess. For a vegetarian version, omit the ground beef.
