Description

This Buffalo Chicken Lasagna is a spicy, cheesy twist on traditional lasagna, featuring layers of tender chicken, buffalo sauce, and melted cheese for the perfect dinner.


Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken with buffalo sauce.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine ricotta cheese, garlic, onion, bell pepper, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spread a thin layer of the chicken mixture on the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Layer with noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Repeat layers until ingredients are used, ending with cheese on top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a milder version, use half the buffalo sauce and add extra cheese. Pairs well with a side salad.
