- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 2 cucumbers, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add gochujang, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger to the beef; stir and cook for another 5 minutes until flavors meld.
- In a separate bowl, toss sliced cucumbers with rice vinegar, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
- Serve the spicy beef hot over rice or noodles, topped with the cucumber salad.
- Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
For a spicier version, add more gochujang to taste.
