Ingredients

- 2 lbs beef chuck, cut into chunks
- 4 red chilies, chopped
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add beef chunks and brown on all sides.
- Add chopped red chilies, sliced onion, and minced garlic; stir for 5 minutes.
- Pour in soy sauce and enough water to cover the beef.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours until beef is tender.
- Stir in fresh cilantro and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot.
Notes
For extra heat, add more chilies. Pairs well with rice.
