For the Crust:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC). Grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
