Soft and fluffy sweet rolls filled with a creamy cheesecake mixture and fresh strawberries, topped with a sweet glaze.

- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and flour; mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes, then place in a greased bowl and let rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread with a mixture of cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
- Sprinkle chopped strawberries over the cream cheese mixture and roll up the dough tightly.
- Cut into 12 rolls and place in a greased baking dish; let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before glazing.
Notes
For best results, use ripe strawberries and serve warm. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
