For the Crust:

  • 1 box of strawberry cake mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries
  • 1 cup crushed vanilla wafer cookies

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and prepare a round cake pan.
  2. Mix the strawberry cake mix according to package instructions and bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  3. In a food processor, combine freeze-dried strawberries and crushed vanilla wafer cookies to form the crunchy topping. Stir in the melted butter until well combined and sprinkle evenly over the baked cake.
