For the Crust:
- 1 box of strawberry cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup freeze-dried strawberries
- 1 cup crushed vanilla wafer cookies
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a round cake pan.
- Mix the strawberry cake mix according to package instructions and bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- In a food processor, combine freeze-dried strawberries and crushed vanilla wafer cookies to form the crunchy topping. Stir in the melted butter until well combined and sprinkle evenly over the baked cake.
