Description

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup strawberry preserves
  • Powdered sugar for rolling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  3. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Stir in cake mix until combined.
  5. Fold in strawberry preserves.
  6. Scoop dough into balls, roll in powdered sugar, and place on baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set.
  8. Cool on wire rack before serving.
