For the Crust:
- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 2 cups fresh spinach
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat the oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and cook until browned. Add the spinach and cook until wilted. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- In a bowl, combine the cooked turkey and spinach mixture with the ricotta cheese.
- Fill each pasta shell with the turkey and ricotta mixture and place in a baking dish.
- Pour the marinara sauce over the shells and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
