Description

A delicious cheesecake with a sugar cookie crust, combining the best of both desserts.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed sugar cookies
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • Optional: Sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the crushed sugar cookies and melted butter until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in sour cream.
  5. Pour the filling over the crust and smooth the top. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until set.
  6. Allow to cool completely, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving. Add sprinkles if desired.
