This meatloaf combines sweet and spicy Korean BBQ flavors for a unique twist on a classic dish.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the glaze: 1/4 cup ketchup, 2 tablespoons honey, 1 tablespoon gochujang
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, honey, and gochujang for the glaze.
- Brush the glaze over the meatloaf.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160ยฐF (71ยฐC).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Serve with rice and vegetables for a complete meal.
