Description

A fun and easy family-friendly dinner that layers all the flavors of a taco into a hearty, cheesy pie.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (1 oz) packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 (9 inch) refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup sliced black olives

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC). Press the pie crust into a 9-inch pie plate and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease. Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Spread the cooked taco meat evenly into the pie crust. Spoon the sour cream over the meat and spread into an even layer. Top with the shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly. Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
  5. Top each slice with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and black olives before serving.
