Description

A delicious fusion of taco flavors and spaghetti for an easy family meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1 can (10 ounces) diced tomatoes with green chilies
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, avocado, and fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until no longer pink; drain excess fat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the taco seasoning and water; bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the black beans and diced tomatoes; stir and cook for another 5 minutes.
  6. Mix in the cooked spaghetti and shredded cheese until well combined and cheese is melted.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot with optional toppings like sour cream, avocado, and cilantro.

Notes
