- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 egg
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, cook Italian sausage until browned; drain excess fat.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, and egg; season with salt and pepper.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in a baking dish.
- Lay out noodles and spread cheese mixture on each; add sausage and roll up.
- Place rolls in the baking dish and top with remaining sauce and cheese.
- Bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
Make sure to let the rolls cool slightly before serving to avoid burns.
