- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into the creamed mixture.
- Fold in butterscotch chips. Spread the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown.
- Cool in the pan before cutting into bars.
