Description

Delicious cookie cups filled with a caramel layer and topped with chocolate, mimicking the flavors of a Twix bar.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms.
  5. Press the dough into the muffin tin cups to form cups.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.
  7. Fill each cooled cup with caramel sauce.
  8. In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate chips and cream until melted, stirring until smooth.
  9. Top the caramel-filled cups with the chocolate mixture and let set.

Notes

For a crunchier texture, add chopped nuts to the dough. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
