- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until a dough forms.
- Press the dough into the muffin tin cups to form cups.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.
- Fill each cooled cup with caramel sauce.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the chocolate chips and cream until melted, stirring until smooth.
- Top the caramel-filled cups with the chocolate mixture and let set.
Notes
For a crunchier texture, add chopped nuts to the dough. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
