For the Crust:
- 12 oz linguine pasta
- 1/2 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and sausage over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sautรฉ until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Stir in heavy cream, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked beef and sausage back to the skillet, along with the cooked linguine. Toss to coat evenly.
- Season with basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
