Description

This easy peanut butter pie is a crowd-pleaser.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter or margarine, and 1/4 cup white sugar. Press mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9 inch pie plate.
  3. Bake crust for 7 minutes; cool.
  4. In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, cream cheese, and confectioners' sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping.
  5. Spread mixture into cooled crust. Chill pie until firm, at least 1 hour.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate instead.
