- 1/4 cup vegan butter, chilled
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup vegan cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour and chilled vegan butter until crumbly.
- Warm almond milk and dissolve yeast in it; add to flour mixture.
- Knead dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Prepare filling by mixing strawberries, vegan cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
- Roll out dough, add filling, and fold into Danish shape.
- Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until golden.
