Description

An elegant and incredibly easy appetizer featuring a wheel of creamy brie baked until warm and gooey, topped with a sweet and savory fig jam, crunchy pecans, and a drizzle of honey.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 (8 oz) wheel of brie cheese
  • 1/4 cup fig jam
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Crackers or sliced baguette for serving

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. Place the brie wheel in a small, oven-safe baking dish or on a parchment-lined baking sheet. If desired, you can carefully slice the top rind off the brie, but this is optional.
  3. Spread the fig jam evenly over the top of the brie wheel. Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the jam.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and warm to the touch.
  5. Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with honey and sprinkle with fresh thyme.
  6. Serve immediately with crackers or sliced baguette for dipping.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
